Fully coated sealing tape

The isolera fully coated sealing tape is a high-quality, permanently elastic sealing tape with a fleece coating on both sides that is ideal for reliably sealing joints, cracks and corners. With its high transverse elongation and long-lasting elasticity, it is specially designed for use in demanding construction projects such as basement waterproofing, tunnelling, building construction and civil engineering as well as balcony and pool waterproofing.

Areas of application

The isolera sealing tape fulfils the requirements of all moisture exposure classes in accordance with the ZDB data sheet and DIN standards, such as DIN 18531 (balconies and terraces), DIN 18534 (interiors) and DIN 18535 (tanks and basins). It is therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and offers durable waterproofing solutions for high exposure to moisture and temperature fluctuations.

• Temperature resistance: -20°C to +90°C
• Processing time: approx. 60 minutes (at 23°C, 1 litre)
• Storage: Dry and protected from direct sunlight, almost unlimited shelf life.

Application

Application of the isolera sealing tape is simple and efficient: Cut the sealing tape to the required length and lay it in the still damp sealing layer. For optimum adhesion and sealing, the sealing tapes should overlap by at least 5 cm and any creases should be smoothed out. Finally, the sealing tape is completely covered with the sealing material to ensure a seamless seal.
